Project summary

ROBotic Slump Test (ROBuST)

The aim of the application is to develop a robotic solution capable to perform the slump test required to check concrete's workability at construction sites and to prepare the most usual concrete specimens for further testing. Nowadays these processes are performed manually and require the involvement of at least two workers. By automating the procedure considerable savings in costs, timing, use of material will be achieved, together with other benefits such as highest levels of standardization in the processes and increase the safety at works.
